Warm-up Exercise and How it Benefits Us

  • Complete a total body circuit of 5 exercises comprises of jumping jacks, squats, lunges, rows, and pushups. Perform only a few reps each. Advantage: Increase in blood flow, range-of-motion, and activation of muscle fibers. In this way, you will be able to exert more force in your workout
  • Begin your first set of your first exercise with lighter weight, i.e 8 – 12 sets of your 1-rep max. Advantage: Lighter weight sets allow your muscle to have the heads up of what you are about to ask them to do. As a result, you are prepared for peak performance before you start your routine
